Why the name?
Glad Tidings is the English meaning of the Arabic word bushrā— a word used in the Quran to deliver news of hope, mercy, and divine favor...بَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
"..glad tidings (bushrā) to the believers.."Its appearance in the Quran is a promise. A divine reassurance of victory, mercy, and joy for those who listen, believe, and obey.This name was chosen as a reminder: that even in moments of struggle, there are always glad tidings for the heart that turns back to Allah.
